The data pledge
Every figure on this site is one click from its source. Where we estimate, we mark it estimated. Where we model, we show our model. No cost figure, no inspection result, no review summary appears on Senior Choice Financial without a public, citable source that we ourselves can defend.
This is harder than it sounds. It means we sometimes publish slower than competitors who simply quote each other in a circle. It also means that when a number on our site says $5,350 per month, you can find out exactly where that number came from, and decide for yourself whether you trust the source. That's the deal.
The accuracy pledge
Errors are corrected publicly, dated, and signed. Significant corrections are noted in the next weekly newsletter under a "Corrections" heading. We do not silently edit. If a number changes, the previous number is shown crossed out so you can see what was there before.
We do not delete unfavorable coverage when a community becomes a referral partner. We do not write puff pieces about communities that pay us. We do not promise a community editorial favor in exchange for inclusion in a partnership program. (Communities have asked. We have declined. The exchanges are not interesting.)
The privacy pledge
Your ZIP, your inquiries, your saved shortlist — never sold. Never used to build a profile. Never shared with communities you didn't ask to be matched with. Every email we send has the unsubscribe link in the header, not the footer. Every inquiry you submit to a partner community is forwarded to that single community only. Read the full privacy pledge for the operational detail; the principles fit on the back of an envelope.
What you can do with this pledge
Hold us to it. If you believe we have violated any of these three commitments — in coverage, in matching, in a community result, in an email — write to editor@seniorchoicefinancial.com. Every email is read by a person. Material violations are corrected publicly, in the next newsletter, with the name of whoever was responsible.
