§ Privacy

Your ZIP, your inquiries, your shortlist — never sold.

In plain English: what we collect, what we never collect, and what we will never do with your data. Short because it can be.

What we collect, automatically

When you visit Senior Choice Financial, we collect anonymous traffic data via Google Analytics 4: which pages you read, how long you stayed, the city your visit originated from (not the address), and the type of device you used. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We use this to understand which articles are useful and which need rewriting. We do not use it to identify you.

What we collect, when you ask us to

If you sign up for the weekly newsletter, we store your email address. That's it — no name, no birthday, no parent's situation, no consent to share. If you use the community finder and submit an inquiry to a partner community, we forward your name, contact information, and stated preferences to that single community. The community contacts you; we do not.

What we never do

  • We do not sell email addresses. Not to communities, not to advertisers, not to anyone.
  • We do not share email addresses with communities you have not specifically asked to be matched with.
  • We do not call you uninvited. We do not text you. We do not robocall.
  • We do not build behavioral profiles for ad retargeting. We do not let ad networks track you across the web from our site.
  • We do not embed third-party tracking pixels from social networks. (No Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, none of it.)

Cookies

We use one category of cookies: anonymous analytics (Google Analytics 4 with consent mode v2, ad storage and ad personalization denied by default). We do not use advertising cookies. We do not require you to accept a cookie banner to read the site, because we are not setting cookies that the law requires us to ask permission for under GDPR or CCPA defaults. If you prefer to block analytics, your browser's "Do Not Track" setting is honored.

Your rights

You may request a copy of any data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Write to privacy@seniorchoicefinancial.com. We respond within thirty days, usually within five business days. You do not need to provide a reason.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the top, in the header. Not buried at the bottom. Unsubscribe is one click, takes effect immediately, and we do not email you again until you explicitly resubscribe.

Children

This site is written for adults making care decisions about other adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, write to us and we will delete it.

If anything changes

Material changes to this policy are announced in the weekly newsletter at least thirty days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent change. Previous versions are archived and available on request.
